How do you determine which child to save and which child to abandon? You can’t. EVERY child deserves a chance in life, even a second or a third chance if necessary, for every life is precious. And it is far more cost-effective to save a child at risk than to pay for the social consequences of a life gone astray. That is the moral doctrine of Jesus Christ.
